R999.00

Restore a youthful glow to your face while diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, and nourishing your skin with the key nutrients it needs. This gentle face serum uses a blend of retinoids & botanical extracts to stimulate collagen production & smooth your complexion. The star ingredient is, of course, our Tri-RetinX Complex, a unique blend of retinoids that delivers potent results and support skin health.

Description

How It Works

A key component of this daily facial serum is our own proprietary retinoid blend known as Tri-RetinX Complex™ : Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR), Bakuchiol, and Sea Fennel. These three ingredients act as natural alternatives to retinol, while still effectively reducing fine lines & wrinkles, for smoother, brighter, healthier looking skin.

Perhaps one of the more overlooked contributors to visible aging is that of environmental stressors. Over the years, pollution, free radicals, and the sun all take their toll in weathering your skin. This serum helps detox and protect your skin from these stressors with its abundance of gentle antioxidants.

Each of this serum’s ingredients was carefully selected for its proven ability help improve the appearance of your skin, and aid in healthy aging. Together, they create a gentle, satisfying blend of botanicals, retinoids, and other natural ingredients.

While retinols are well-known for their incredible skin-improving results, they’re also a bit notorious for being pretty irritating. In fact, some skin types can’t handle them at all. Our blend of natural retinoids offer similar effects without the irritation. It’s also been reviewed & approved of by The Good Face Project, a third-party organization dedicated to high safety standards.

Which scar do you have?

Keloid Scars

A Keloid scar also known as Keloidal Scar can be put into two categories depending on their maturity. 1) 111 (early type) or 1 (late type) collagen. It is a result of an overgrowth of granulation tissue (collagen type 3) at the site of a healed skin injury which is then slowly replaced by collagen type 1. Keloids can be firm rubbery legions or they can be shiny fibrous nodules. Their colour can vary from pink to the colour of the patient’s skin or from red to a dark brown colour. A Keloid scar is not malignant nor is it contagious, it can however get very painful and very itchy. It can also change in texture. In severe cases of Keloid scars, it can affect the movement of the skin. Keloid scars are more prominent in ethnic groups than they are in Caucasians.

Keloids are not hypertrophic scars, which are scars that are raised scars that do not grow over and beyond the original wounds boundaries.

Hypertrophic Scar

Hypertrophic scars are scars that have an excessive amount of collagen causing the scar to rise, but not to the degree of the Keloid scar. Just like the Keloid scars they form at the sites of pimples, body piercings, cuts and burns. Hypertrophic scars contain nerves and blood vessels. They form after a thermal or a traumatic injury has occurred that involves the deep layers of the dermis and have high levels of TGF.
